Graduate Profile:

The Graduate of the Engineering and Technology Management program of the Universidad Andrés Bello, is a professional who has knowledge of engineering, economics, technology and management, which allows him/her to design, implement and evaluate efficient solutions in areas of: operations, project management, finance, business intelligence in productive and service contexts, incorporating quality criteria,  continuous improvement and innovation, to comply with organizational objectives from a tactical and strategic role. Likewise, they are prepared to manage and lead organizational projects and processes in teams within productive, technological and service contexts by applying effective communication tools from a focus on ethical responsibility and organizational sustainability. 

The graduate will be able to diagnose problems in a global context and propose alternative solutions in engineering projects, applying the principles of basic sciences and engineering with critical thinking and methodological foundations. They will also have skills that will allow them to critically address challenges in today’s world, integrating, at the same time, a multifocal perspective of their origin and cultural manifestations.

Possibility of working in the U.S. upon completion of the face-to-face program at ASU.

Save on your training by doing only the last year in the USA, but obtaining the same academic degree if you studied the 4 years in that country.

Curriculum with international experiences and micro-credentials.

Our program differs from other similar ones, in that in only 4 years you obtain the academic degree of bachelor’s degree and the professional title of engineer.

Admission Requirements:

To join the program, you must:
  • Apply through the centralized admission system with required standardized exams.
  • Apply through Direct Admission via any of the entry options.
  • Apply through the International Baccalaureate.
  • Take an English test to certify your level (B1, B2).
To access the fourth year at ASU (in person or online) you must:
  • Certify a B2 English level (via Duolingo English Test, TOEFL, or by completing ASU’s “English for Admission and Achievement” 8-week course).
  • Have an academic average of 5.0 or higher on the Chilean 1.0 – 7.0 grading scale.
  • Visa accepted by the U.S. government (in person format at ASU)
  • Additional application requirements may apply

 

In the event of not meeting any of these conditions, you will be able to continue your fourth year at UNAB and obtain the following degrees:

To apply for the OPT program in the U.S., you must choose the in-person ASU option for your 4th year.
